Building Safe Spaces for Learning
There is an urgent need for safe, stimulating learning environments for young children. Masoleng Rising is ready to respond, with secured land for two new Early Childhood Development (ECD) sites, each planned to host two classrooms.
We have approved modular building plans for 60m² classrooms, designed by Lima in accordance with the Department of Social Development’s minimum norms and standards. Each classroom will offer a child-friendly, well-equipped space that supports early learning and care, helping us grow a stronger foundation for every child in the village.
Design Overview:
A Thoughtfully Planned 2-Classroom ECD Facility
Each 60m² modular classroom accommodates 40–60 children and includes a sickbay, office, and storeroom.
Moveable partitions allow flexible use of space. The office features a window for oversight into both the classroom and sickbay.
The building also includes a kitchen with a secure pantry, child-friendly bathrooms (including a disabled/teacher toilet), and a shaded patio for outdoor activities.
Two water tanks support rainwater harvesting. Designed for natural light and ventilation, the structure allows for future expansion through its modular design.
